The KX 65 has a 12mm diameter axle, front & rear (my son's '01 & '06)
FYI - the KLX110 uses a 10mm in the front & a 12mm in the rear

 

Thanks on the info! It helped a lot! The guys at Mini Mob Racing have a 12mm converter so that will do the trick for my kx65... If anyone is looking into buying a set of SM tires for a kx65 try out their site, the have a good price compared to the cyclones which I have heard really bad comments about... If anyone tries a set from them before me let me know how they are if not I'll write a review on it... Lets hope its good and that I get a set soon! JFYI I am not affiliated in any way to them just think they have a great price(for $290 for 2.5x12 rims and billet hubs all ready set up you cant go wrong!)

 

Will the stock rotors fit?

 

My wheels will be here on monday so I'll let you know then... If they dont then they sell some nice rotors too but I dont want to spend on rotors. So lets hope they work.

 

I'll wait. I was going to relace the front with another rear rim that I have, but these look alot nicer than the skinny stock setup.

First, I am looking for a cheap way out to get the bike on the track to see if I like it.

If I like how the bike is, I'll be looking for a more permanent setup, and this looks really good.

 

OK, good to know. I just respoked the front hub, to a 12" rim and it wasn't too bad, so I will run that for now. Maybe later in a year I'll look at something.
