So i have a 2008 KTM 690 smc with some issues. Throttle feels very weird and bike lacks power. The fi light flashes 8x when j turn in the ignition. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Can’t find any any info about flashing cods in the manual for my year bike. Hope someone can help.

This is from a 2009 Duke 690...the error codes should be the same for your bike... The screenshot comes from the user manual... if you didn't get one with your bike, you should easily be able to find a free .pdf version online
