Any of you guys running these? I switched from the contforce to the contiattack last week and started running 24psi cold. Seems ok. The profile of these tires is much different than the contiforce. Tips in alot easier. Let me know what you guys are running for pressures. Thanks.

I run 23 psi cold both front and rear. But it's not on a DRZ and weighs a little less

I was in the same boat as you...rode conti forces forever and was forced to the conti attacks when they stopped making them. I had heard they were better actually but weren't quite as good in the rain because of less tread. I will say this bro, after only 25miles, I'm sold. The tip-in is much quicker due to a profile change and at lean-angle they stick like glue. Took a little bit to get used to but I'm diggin em now. I road race too so I am not easy on them by any means. Plus they are made so there is no mold release so brake-in is very quick. Try em out and give it a few miles - you'll love them.

I like them better in the dirt too. I haven't spent much time in the dirt with them yet but I think the steeper profile may give you better bite in the loose stuff. Like I said, more seat time is needed for a thorough assessment. Keep in mind, I also replaced them as a set. Not sure what your feeling will be swapping out the rear only, but I have ridden on lots of diffferent brands, road and track, and these are a great tire for the aggro DRZ street rider.

4 years ago I was at the Indy Show and I walked down to the Continental booth. Was looking around and one of the guys at the booth asked if he could help me. I asked him what tire did they have that was as good or better than the Michelin Powerone which is a 75% trackday and 25% street tire. Told him what I was doing Supermoto and that it was a DRZ SM. He said you need the
Conti Attack SM. Got a set and never looked back great tire heats up fast and sticks like glue. Trackday or street great for both and yes 24 psi cold is good maybe even 22psi. Buy a set you will be happy.

I've put a few hundred miles on them now and I love em. They are a great tire.

What kind of mileage are people getting out of these? I don't do burn outs or clutch up wheelies so I don't think I'm too hard on tires, but if a rear won't last at least 3000 miles then that is not enough for me. I just do a little bit of commuting, otherwise I'm always looking for twisties. I'll pay a little extra for good grip, but I know I can get at least 5000 miles out of a Pilot Power rear, probably 10,000 out of a pilot power front. I ran a set on a Ninja 636 quite a few years ago and I remember getting just over 6000 miles out of a rear PP.

I don't understand how people get this kind of miles from their tires? My last Pilot Power rear on my 690 was done at 1000 miles. Never got better than 2000 from a front or rear. :headscrat

I'm with you. I get 1000-1500 miles running 24psi cold. And I run both front and rear down to the chords before I put on a new one. I'm assuming riding style is a factor. And pilot powers aren't half the tire the conti attacks are if you're riding aggro.
