I realize this might not be the place for this . But I have seen others here so I figured what the heck it is kind of like a supermoto on steroids ..LoL...This is my 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 with 5400 original miles . I bought the bike last fall in stock condition with 5000 miles and over the winter performed the following modifications to it .I did not like the stock red wheels so I had them polished and powder coated black, I had all new bearings installed as well as a new set of Avon storms, 200 rear tire ,120 front tire . I replaced the rear round rotor with a wavy rotor from a ZX10 . I replaced the stock chain and sprockets with an RK gold 520 and Vortex sprockets -1 front and +2 rear . I bought a new Muzzy 4 into 1 Carbon Fiber exhaust system and shortened the can to 12.5". I bought a set of stock rear sets and chopped and reshaped them for solo rider than took them , as well as the metal side covers and shift linkage , off to the powder coater for black powder and a new set of titanium pegs . I painted the radiator shrouds satin black with Krylon fusion paint . New black rear seat cowl and a cowl pad from Jesters in the UK also a new Corbin saddle with red piping . I installed a Clear Alternatives tail light with integrated rear turn signals and a carbon fiber rear tire hugger from Powerbronze . Up front I went with a set of Pro Taper Kawi mini bend bars and a set of black adjustable shorty levers from Pazzo Racing as well as a set of Rizoma Led signals and Rizoma aero 17 mirrors and adapters . I think that is it but I may be forgetting something . I am a 52 year old man who has always rode cruiser bikes . I have ridden the bike for 400 miles and have decided sport bikes are not for me .. $5600obo ... The bike is located in South Windsor Ct.-Thanks -Gary
Hollywood33 .. Reply sent .. Yes I will work with any interested persons shipping agent ..
Gino .. Thank You .!
Jmann .. Thank You ! The bike is a blast to ride and gets a lot of attention . I built the bike to ride with my 28 year old son who bought an RC51 and his friends . After 2 outings with those guys . I realize I do not belong on this bike ..LoL.. It was not enjoyable at all . I suppose I have become to cautious in my old age. - Gary
That is the truth . You don't see many of these around . Not many people know what it is . When I built it I dropped 1 tooth on the front sprocket and went up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket . Light to light is pretty exciting just trying to keep the front end down ...
s276l .. Thank you for the kind words .. School is a way better investment than this bike !
Hollywood33 ,You are welcome . The bike may be moving to Oregon . There is a gentleman looking into shipping today . We will see what happens .. If the forums do not work out the next stop will be Ebay ( I hate the thought of that ).. Thanks again for your interest .-G
