Hey all,

I have a 06 XR650R that I want to convert to sm.

I also have a set of Excell sm wheels and hubs (both front and rear with tires).

Excell says they dont have the carriers to work on the 650R.

Any ideas? I really dont want to break up the dirt wheels as I do some desert racing on the girl and want to keep that option open.

Thanks in advance,

Ernie 708

By the way, Excell doesnt make the carriers for my 07 Husky 610 either?

I got plenty of bikes and sm wheels but cant get them to fit s**t!:hmmm:

either buy different bearings or you can make captive spacers if the current bearings are larger than the axles. the main difference in the carriers i would speculate is the mounting for the rotors and sprocket. you should be able to use a sprocket that fit whatever the carriers were designed for. you may be able to redrill your rotors to fit if the bolt pattern if different. Or if you know a machinist or have access to the tools, make your own carriers. or perhaps you could modify the existing carriers. they can't be all that different.
Good luck
