Anybody know anything about this bike, looks way too good to be true?

If you are looking for the fastest production super bike, the X18-R Nitro ( Race Edition ) is it! Powered by a newly retuned and tweaked Honda®-Based 110cc 4-Stroke Engine, this super bike can reach stratospheric RPMs in only a few ticks. Acceleration is strong in any gear because of the X18-R's revised torque curve, which provides maximum power even at lower RPMs. The large diameter free-flow exhaust screams a melodious note at wide-open throttle while staying relatively quiet at idle and low revs.
Every option has been included with the X18-R. A full array of gauges on the backlit dash relay information to the rider including speed, current voltage level, warning lights and an LCD digital display of the current gear selection. The electric start button, Quartz headlight, signal, tail and brake lights are all ergonomically located at your fingertips. All ACC items are fuse protected, key activated (anti-theft) and charged via the ZR motorcycle alternator. The non-slip leatherette seat and fully adjustable controls (handlebars, brakes, levers, suspension, tire pressure, etc.) guarantees a customized fit for any rider.

I don't see what's so exciting. There are countless other pocket bikes out there just like this one. The only difference is this one is decently marketed in english (read: lots of fancy suedo-techincal talk), rather than roughly translated in engrish.

Seriously, most of that is a load of crap. How much drag testing do you think they did on anything that costs $600? Even if it did, how much of a difference would it make on something that small and only hits 70?

And I like the talk of the sequential transmission. That is new and exciting. It's about time they put one of those in a motorcycle. *cough*

In short, if you want something moderately fun and cheap, I'm sure it'll be fine. But if you really buy into all that hype, then good luck.

150lbs pocket bike? Does that come with a 20,000lbs tensile strength belt?

Found a site that has lots of info about it, basically it's what you would expect for a $600 chinese bike. real hp-6-8; top speed stock 45-52.

Couldn't believe the hype especially when Pitster advertises their 08 top of the line X4 with the new 150 cc GPX motor putting out 11.9hp tops/ 45mph top speed for abot 4 times the $.

Outrageous how bad advertising has got, no better today than the snake oil salesman in the 1800's.

Found a site that has lots of info about it, basically it's what you would expect for a $600 chinese bike. real hp-6-8; top speed stock 45-52.

Outrageous how bad advertising has got, no better today than the snake oil salesman in the 1800's.
Pitster bikes are bad arse for the money :thumbup:

x18 is a piece of shiit bike. Cheap ABS plastic fairings, crappy frame, brakes that will not brake. Most come with a loncin 107cc engine, not 60mph at all. Save your money.

Tallboy, blatas are the cheapest quality of the european pocketbikes. They are poor machines in my eyes. there are many quality brands such as, GRC, GEM, BMS, Pasini, Stamas and Giannini.
