1) Where is a good place to buy tires in this area? I currently run Michelin
race slicks and would like to find out where to buy them locally.

2) Is there any sales, support or mounting at the local races?

3) What tires and compounds work well up here?

For Dunlop, its EDR Racing 503-629-7223

For Pirelli it's Tigershark Racing (I don't have the phone # handy) out of portland.

Carl used to be the trackside Avon supplier but since he retired no one has taken that over.

As for trackside support, most of the time you are on your own. If you need help, most of the other guys including myself are more than happy to help.

Tire compounds: 95% of the year you can get away with both soft fronts and rears. There are a couple of months (july/aug) where you might want a medium rear and a soft front.
