I highsided (no relation to Harry) kinda got flinged in the air ECW style. Never saw it coming. One moment oh yeah, the next oh no! Slide, slide slide, catch, fling! Needless to say I got two bad hands right now and won't be doing any curls. Hows yours? Healing ok?

Try loosing the front,my toe hooked the tar with the bike and me coming down on top of it ,ended up with my right foot facing 180 around the wrong way with 2x8inch plates 16 screws and 53 stitches for my trouble :hmmm:
Its been 7 weeks now,got xrays today and the doctor said it should be good to go in another 8 weeks, what a bitch . I could see about a 2mm gap through my tib .

But my motor will be back next friday with a top and bottom end rebuild ,with a new STM slipper clutch and full brembo front brakes .
So ill will be strapping it up and riding on sunday

bones mend but memories last for ever
Or untill i land on my head again :laughingr

My last one was more of just an aggrevation of a previous injury. It was actually my second crash of that day (actually, my 2nd crash within 30 mins)...I hit a rut (pretty much a pothole) while transitioning left-to-right in a tight chicane and got some crazy headshake which threwme to the ground pretty hard. I bruised up my hand adn elbow pretty badly, but the worst part was that I had broken a rib about a week or so before that, so that REALLY hurt. It re-fractured my rib, and pretty much put an end to any breathing I had planned on doing for the rest of the day.

<Knocking on wood> So far I've just busted up a few fingers, and got lot's of cuts, bruises, and rash from Supermoto.

But my most spectacular CRASH! was during a practice day at Grange as well.

After railing through turn two and on towards three, I stayed hard on the gas trying to deepen my entry point. Then in one swift motion, I transitioned my weight, reached for the front brake, and put some counter-steer into the bars...

But the bars, quite easily went to full lock?!? WHAT THE...

I didn't realize that I had been floating the front wheel down the short straight before turn three. Then the wheel touched down.

Unfortuantely the bars were at full lock, and I was on the brakes (Damn muscle memory)

I distinctly remember seeing the front numberplate of my bike right in front of my face... upside down. Then looking up (which was down) and seeing the ground rushing by at a good clip. "tuck and roll, tuck and roll" I kept thinking... Then "When the hell am I gonna land?!?" I knew my meeting with the ground was inevitable, so I closed my eyes and waited for impact.

<WHAM!> Perfect head first landing, in the traditional Lawn Dart position. "Look at the stars"

I remember getting to my feet and some guy pulling up and asking if I was alright. All I could do, almost out of instinct was give him two thumbs up. But I was looped.

Probably another concussion, I've had plenty... I know the drill.

A few people saw me flying through the air, unfortuantely the wife had put away the video camera (DAMN IT)

Ride'on,

~CRASH!~ (There's always next time)

Well I just got into riding anything motorized on two wheels, all I have right now is a scooter...I plan to get into supermoto once I save up enough money from my job. But Yup, for the whole 6 months I have been riding this scooter I have already laid it down. I bought it used, 200 bucks to see If I liked motorcycles before I bought anything expensive. So this thing is a "piece" 21 years old. Well I had done some work on it and got the front brakes working rear brakes didn't work because the rear brake cable is discontinued for some reason. Didn't have new tires on it at the time I had old bald tires on it. Well I went to the gas station on it to get a snack and it looked like it might rain so I decided that I could make it before it started raining....Well I didn't Got caught out in the rain with just front brakes and bald tires. Locked the front at a stop sign and down she went. I was going slow tho So I only got some nasty looking road rash.
