Hey, whats up, just got my Applied triple clamp, pulled the front end off the CRF and, I cant get the steering stem off of the bottom clamp. Does it come off or do I need a new one? Beat it harder? Anybody?

I'm not a Honda expert, but have seen some that actually thread into the lower clamp. Also, if you heat the clamp (not the stem) you may ease the separation. Beating a pressed fitting is never good.

the stem is pressed into the clamp.. just find someone with a hydrolic press and push it out and press it into the new clamp..
