Hey guys, I know theres all kinds of led threads, but I want to know if anyone found some tough ones. You know, some leds that will stay in one piece say even on a LC4 bike... I got so many lighting problems due to vibs its starting to get to be a pain. Some good headlamp bulb mfgrs would help too.... I'm on my 3rd headlamp bulb this week! (EiKO) and I have enough leds bouncing around in the bottom of my taillamp to decorate a birthday cake!

I better check my 1157 LED bulb to see how it is doing!

My problem lately has been with my front LED signals breaking from the vibration and rough roads I ride.

Oh... the headlamp is the 08 exc kit... never had any trouble out of the stock smc lamp (other than it looks 100 years old):headscrat As far as the tail goes, its a 05 so aftermarket just won't work out too good back there. Ive done the t/s mod and the lil leds seem to be holding up, the 1157 led is the prob... the diodes keep falling out of the assembly:headscrat

can you post a pic of what those look like at night? please....:)

I have no good night shots, but they are awesome. Huge spread, distance falls short at about 100MPH. Same color as HID's (5500 or so).

My camera is very complicated and I can't get any good night shots. They are brighter than my Micro DE Xenons on my KTM.

i'm putting on a '08 headlight on my '05 smc as well but will be running HID. i run the edge on the '05 it takes some hacking and fabrication to make it work. the watsen signals friggin amazing!!! and made in Canada
for a easy fix i would use two of the drc flex tail lights, one on the plate and one on the air box in front of the rear wheel. looks and works great!

Good guys there.. I got all the E1 lamps from them for my truck and vette. Waaaaayyyy better than DOT sealed beams. If you don't see something on their site call em... they may be able to help. If I recall the guy that started the co. retired (was involved in rally racing) and these guys were new at it but real helpful.

I'm thinking about stacking two of these behind the 08 exc lens on my smc. http://www.rallylights.com/hella/50mm_modules.asp

Finally got the Watsen Design LED signals mounted up on my SXV. They look wicked and should be practically crash proof being tucked up so nicely. They flash a nice bright orange colour.

yeah, those things rock. FYI: The low is a bit deeper than the high beam. The guys at rllylights are great and about the best in the industry for that stuff.
