anyone ever ride on intermediates, meaning half rain half dry tires. not intermediate compound
how are they?
i assume its ajust a soft slick thats cut slightly, i can get a rippin deal on 2 brand new michelin rears for like 160 shipped. just curious if anyone has run them on a SM or sportbike

I rain the Maxxis ones, what were the Goldspeeds. Mine had great grip and obviously rocked in the rain. But the rear last about oh, 1100 miles (street tard). On a hot track I couldn't see them lasting very long at all.

track only, w/huge dirt section like 50/50 so its not like they would get unreasonably hot. im definitely a pavement specialist ( slow as shit in the dirt) so id like something that stays pretty warm.
its an aprilia sxv, so i have to run a 180 which limits me to basically roadrace tires so i want to keep it as soft a compound as possible. thats the logic beind maybe doing intermediates...figured they are plenty soft, but wont get shredded like a full rain
