Hey all, are there any venders here in SoCal, that go to our races, that have Dunlops? I know there are Michelin, but what else? Thanks, Chris

Yeah, but do they come to our races??
no, the only guys that "officially" go are from Factory Pro Racing, Michelin guys, but you dont want michelins, SO...

Sort of. Dunlop(Sport Tire Services) will be at the WSMC rounds at Willowsprings the same time we are running at the Horse Thief STTARS rounds at Willowsprings. You will have to haul your stuff over to the big track for service though.
they're also going to be at fontana this weekend. If anyone wants to roll up saturday you can get a set of slicks for ~$330.00 mounted but you have to call beforehand to let the guy know to bring the supermoto sizes (805-434-4810).

I'm going to see what Jerry at CRS has before going that route.
I get track side tires from Darren Hickey of Central Race Tire.

Which reminds me that they will be at the STTARS Fontana round also.
Also - California Race Services is now offering Bridgestone tires.
I don't know if they will be going to the races but they are in Huntington Beach. 800-620-1277. I think they said they might be able to offer a set of slicks between $275-300 a set. www.crstires.com
Tell'em SMR sent ya
SMRscott, any feedback on the bridgestones? That's what I've been getting, post Pirelli. I understand you tested them?
I have ridden with a set of Bridgestone slicks and was very impressed. I didn't do any back to back testing and only ran through one set on a KTM 450 SMR.
The best setup is the ultra-soft front and soft rear. They lasted longer than I expected and held up though a dozen or more heat cycles. They hold their shape and don't blister when back into the turns a lot.
I hope to get a few set in the near future to do more testing.
Right now I don't think they offer a 16.5 and the rear only works with a 4.5 or 5" rear rim.
