Use a heat gun and heat the graphics up, then very slowly (SLOWLY) peel them off. Heat up one section, peel off a little bit, heat up a bit more, etc etc. You can use a hair dryer for this, but it takes FOREVER.
If you go to fast, you'll leave residue which sucks. Also it's a trick balancing how hot to get the graphics, to hot and you'll damage the plastic underneath, to cold and the graphics don't come off.
park your bike in the sun for an hour or so, then hit em with a pressure washer. start in a corner and they fly off in seconds with absolutely NO residue. WAY BETTER than the heat gun method, plus way faster. i had my graphics off in less than 2 minutes.........
I think the tank is either painted or clearcoated over the graphics. I'm not entirely positive, but if I remember correctly you're not getting them off without repainting the tank.
