You pulled it off a truly great event! You made a great weekend for alot of people. I couldn't believe how many racers were there including the ama guys. The track looked great even though I wasn't able to ride it for obvious reasons. It must have taken an immense effort to organize, definately a    My son had a great time, he loved the dirt section. I truly hope you are able to do it again next year.

Once again well done and thankyou.

John.

Marche - you did it!!!!

That was a great weekend - the track was awesome and challengng, the prizes were outstanding and the racing was great.

You really put on a great event.

Thanks also to Don.
Fantastic event...my son had a great time.

I'm sure there must have been an incredible amount of work to pull off something of this size...kudos for your hard work!
Marche,
Hats of to you, man. That was awesome! Thanks from everyone!

Marche & Don....

That really was a top notch event. Probably one of the most successful seen this side of, well, that i've seen for sure. It kicked ass...and kicked my ass. It was certainly challenging in exactly the way some of us street guys need to be challenged...and the team race was a lot of fun, although it wore me out (sorry for running you off the track marche). There were too many great details to list them all here but shoot, thank you and everyone else who attended (from all over the country)...for making such an incredible race weekend. It doesn't get any better than that...until you guys put together another one. Rock on!!!!

Here here again!
What they all said!

Truly a well organized event... Not just a race, but a full fledged event! The track was AWESOME! Even for a street guy like me, it looked hairy, but I was able to clear the jumps. The track offered plenty of passing room and run off, and was a great mix of all motorcycle disciplines. Classes for EVERYONE with everything from 50's to quads provided fun for the whole family. Then to top it off, a short walk to the hotel/ casino (and all the fun to be had inside) makes for an event that will be hard to beat!!!

In fact I DARE you to beat it next year!!! DOUBLE DOG dare ya! heh heh.

(Are sign ups open for next year yet?!?)

Thanks Marche, Don and to everyone who had a hand in this weekend!!!!!

Last weekend was by far the most fun I have ever had on a motorcycle. I raced motorcross years ago and have been road racing for the past 4 years. I decided to go SuperMoto and could not be happier. My 2 R6's are now up for sale so I can get another CRF. Awesome event, well run, and something for everyone. I am now completely hooked and will see you at the next event!
Marche, Don, and all involved,
Thank you for putting on a fantastic event.
My entire family had a great time, it was well worth the 600 mile round trip.
Looking forward to your next event.
I think this had to be the biggest supermoto event ever in the united states! The track was great and the racing was action packed! Thanks Marche for putting on a great event and showing the industry that supermoto is here to stay!

I too look forward to next years event....This has to be a yearly thing don't you guys think.

Thanks again Marche!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Sorry if my Mom scared you....she can get a bit aggressive!
Good times, I'm just sorry I didn't have a running bike for the event. :damn:

Marche,
What was the final count for rider registration? My local dealer/sponsor was impressed when I mentioned the 300 rider number. I'm trying to get him into carrying SM parts/gear and racing (Currently races road and is an ex-mxer).

I think we need one in the fall too, since AMA dropped the Vegas round. :D
Palm Springs

Marche,

Surely now you KNOW you can pull of an event of this magnitude, you have to be the number one candidate to go out and fix us all a Supermoto event on the Streets of Downtown Palm Springs, much like Reno or the Long Beach Grand prix!!

We already know Palm Springs has re-invented itself after their lull in the 90's, we already know they are open to such outrageous events as the sports car club used to hold car races there, the weather is just about the most reliably predicatably dry and warm as anywhere on the planet, there is an airport there, there are vacant lots in downtown where the dirt section can be built......

Go on, Marche! I know you can do it! Make it happen!! As Crash says.....I DARE you!

Call me and let's talk.

Thanks again for a great weekend and thanks tO Andre and Ricardo Barbosa of Three Brothers Racing KTM in Temecula, for preparing my KTM and for all their support at the races! Oh, and thanks to all my friends and fellow racers, you guys too made the weekend what it was.

Big thanks from the quad guys too!. It's my new favorite sport thanks to your event. I had a blast and I can't wait until next year! And thanks for the beer!
Thanks to all of you!!

I would like to thank all of you guys and girls who supported the event. It was a HUGE gamble for me to take this event on, with never having done something like this in the past. I had a vision, and it came together better than I had hoped for. I was almost in tears watching the Pro's race at something that I had put together. The months of planning, preparation, emails, and phone calls were worth it. I would like to thank all of the sponsors that believed in me enough this year to jump on board and help out. It will not be forgotten.

I would also like to extend my gratitude to all of the people on my staff that were there to make the event successful. There is no "I" in team, and it takes a TEAM to pull any event off. Thanks to Don Canet for bringing STTARS to the event, and lending his assistance and knowledge of the sport to my event. Thanks to Brok McCallister for assisting with the Nor Cal contingent as well. It was great to watch all the different racers. Thanks to Scott Hoffman of Supermoto Racer Magazine for believing in me, and cheering me on through all of the difficulties before the event took place. (fire department, etc.) Thanks to Moto Greg for taking care of tech inspection. Thanks to John Casimir for handling pre-grid. Thanks to Lance with ATVScene.com for helping out with our new 4 wheeled firends. The quads were amazing to watch! Most of all, thanks to my wife and daughter for standing by through this last few months. It has not been easy. Lastly, thanks to all of my family and friends who helped with the event. I could not have done it without all of you.

Thanks to Andy Shellcross (A.K.A. the Mad Brit) for letting me ride a few laps in the team race with him. It was really fun to ride the track that I had seen in my head for months.

Perhaps the companies that I contacted regarding sponsorship for this event won't laugh at me again when they are approached about the type of event that I want to put on.

Time will tell............

Thanks again to all of those involved with the event!!

I must give mad props too Marche!! Definitely the most fun I have had racing EVER! I'm sure we all had little complaints about the weekend, but the good far beyond outweighed any of the bad. Can't wait til next year.

Todd

P.S. did you get my alligator???
Andy, Palm Springs would be sweet, I'm with you on that one.
