I have a Ktm 450smr that's setup for the street. I'm riding a lot of backcountry access routes and some single track and I'm worried about my wheels.

I have black excel rims and eagle talon hubs with a rear distanzia tire. Am I gonna ruin the rim/hubs from riding all these logging roads and rough access routes?

Thanks a lot for the help.

not unless you rail a rock. Sumo rims are actually beefer usually than their dirt counter part. Spokes are bigger more rim metal yada yada.

riding the street is actually harder on them than dirt unless your doing 60+ foot doubles all the time. asphault doesnt give like dirt when you hit pot holes or curbs and things.
