Thanks for the kind words & thoughts, Ron.
Surgery went really well. But, WOW does this thing hurt...hopefully, it'll be better once the swelling goes down.
The nerve block was a trip...made it feel like I just had a big hunk of meat hanging off my body all the next day!

I was killing me not to be at Pat's yesterday! :headshake I watched S1, instead...

recovering...

just updated my calendar with your schedule in case we can make it down for a race or two and it struck me how much work must go into putting this together, so a big thumb's up to Ron :thumbup

Winter Blast 2005

Ron, Kurt

I just wanted to drop you guys a line, and say THANK YOU FOR A GREAT TIME LAST WEEKEND. You guys run a great show, I had more fun in my first Supermoto race, then in 12 years of Motocross racing. Let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you guys out, set-up, registration, clean-up, flyers, etc...whatever I can do to help.

Thanks again,

Your weclome. Glad to see everyone is having as good of a time as we are.

One thing we do need help with for sure: corner working.

If you know someone who would be willing to help out during the race days, please let us know. I'm sure we will have swag like series t shirts to give out to volunteers.

series poster

Speaking of helping out. I just printed out a copy of the schedule for a parts guy at a local MC shop to put on his cork board. I realized that we should have a poster made up to put in all the shops around town. does any one in this forum have poster making skills? Any graphic artists? Maybe I'll fart around on the computer and make something. I know a printer that would do the work - he's a SM enthusiast, and I client of mine. I realized that in talking to this guy that his shop really had no clue about supermoto. this should be the first people to know about it. maybe we could take an example of another series, like the N.CA. series, and use the same kind of poster,(if they have one) and just change a few things to make it ours.
really it doesn't have to be more than a peice of paper with a picture and the dates; maybe a list of sponsors to boot.

Just some Ideas.

Here's my crappy attempt as an idea:

Ron and I can always use more help, flagging, sweeping, hay bales moved, dirt section watered, cleaning my bike, crash repair, etc.

Make sure you come on over and introduce yourself so we can put a face with the name.

Oh ya and bring a few friends out with you (preferrably ones that are slower than me)
