I have been to 94 on mine, had my jacket opened, backpack on and mx lid, and it was still pulling. Over 100 is def attainable on a 450, but I think lack of aerodynamics is a huge limiting factor, which makes a real 120+ almost impossible.:hmmm:

my old kx250 used to run 120mph against ninja's the klx450 has been clocked at 122.

it took forever to get from 85 to 95

Yeah, the drag equation includes velocity squared (v^2), so that 12.5% increase in speed means the motor was fighting 25% more wind resistance. Crazy how that stuff works.
