I just bought a 2007 CBR 600RR rear master for $25.00. Got a line, GPTech adapter & the Brembo non radial master with banjos & washers all for $145.00 so I'll give it all a shot. I prolly won't like the master, but it's something to start with & I can always upgrade & sell the Brembo later. Can't wait to start stopping. lolYea the rekluse is for the 250f's and the 450 master cylinders. It won't work on the 426. Besides that, to get just eh adapter from rekluse is super expensive

Thanks. I built this bike to learn. I race moto-x for years & I could wheelie & stoppie awesome on 2 smokes, & I had a couple of rockets that I could do some nice stuff on too, but it's gonna take me a little seat time to get decent on this. It's a nother monster. That's why we built it tough, as strong 12 o'clock bar & a hand brake set up. Passenger pegs are a huge plus too. I've been having so much fun building it & test riding, I can't wait until it's complete so I can kill myself on it. Rebuilding the brakes currntly, but it'll be totally done soon.why not use the clutch master off a KTM?
BTW, nice bike - you went one step further than i did... all min is is a bolt-on 12 bar that doesnt stick out real far, and is very narrow.
you already know how to slow wheelie or you going to learn on this bike?
I never could on a street bike. I hold out a 2 mile sit down on my ZX10 once, and tons of shorter stuff but never could use a rear brake on a big bike.
a few weeks of riding the YZ on teh street and all of a sudden the rear brake started working for me, and i was able to steer around corners all in the same night.
I gave it up for a year and got back on recently (had to rebuild the motor, but not from stunting) and finally scraped the 12 bar, but DAMN its a long ways back.
Unfortunately, i really like to race supermoto and ride trails, and the YZ did neither very well goign from one to the other, so its sold, and two KTM 450's replace it.
Eventually the '07 450 SMR will get a quick connect 12 bar and some other goodies... its just too pretty to cut into right now.
Probably. I have a lighting stator for it.Are you going to put fans on it?
I'm gonna try a computer fan. I hear that they work, so I'll give it a shot. If I can't get that set up to work, I'm using a CBR fan. Ryan used one off of a 929 or 954.I am in the same boat... I wired up my bike so that instead of having a high beam when I flip the switch to HI it will cut the light and run straight power to the fan.... now I just had to suck it up and buy the damn fan. Finding one that is the right size is TOUGH...
