We just wanted to say thanks to everyone who subscribed or spread the news about SuperMoto Racer Magazine. If not for the diehard supermoto riders, fans and the advertisers that took a chance with a small independent publication, we would have never made it past the first issue—thanks.
I am a motorcycle enthusiast and I started SMR with my own dime because I fell in love with supermoto and I so much want the sport to take off. We hope to keep things growing and again ask for support going into our second year. For 2005 we are planning on publishing 5 issues instead of 4 and hope to be on limited newsstands by the end of 2005 if things go our way.
Keeping a magazine afloat is not easy and we ask for your help to keep it around for years to come. If you are calling on products you may have seen in SMR please let them know you saw it in the magazine—it really helps. And it only takes one ride to get hooked on supermoto—so invite a dirt or street rider out to the track to take a few laps on your bike and by the end of the day they will be asking how to get started.
