If you want a serious workout and good practice for when the rear lets go, just practice on a loose-dirt motocross area.

You will probably kill the bike a few times if you suck like I do, but it really helps you learn how to deal with the rear tire spinning, burying the front wheel, sliding really bad, etc.

Then, when it happens on the pavement portion of the track, you are ready for it. It also is good for practicing showing-off when you leave the dirt part of the track and hit the pavement. I like to "clean my tires" on that portion of the track.
