Street-legal 2000 Honda CR500R 2-stroke w/ supermoto wheelset

Hi All, gots a bike for sale:

The title: Title is indistinguishable from any streetbike's title. VIN on steering head is the same as one on title. Use: "CYC". Body: "CR500RY". Previous owner had it street-plated for a long time. I got it transferred into my name, at the first licensing agency I went to, with no problems. Since, I have renewed the tabs 4 times. In 2012, they sent me a new plate, as old one expired. This experience has been the same as with any streetbike I've owned.

However: When I purchased the bike 5 years ago, I assumed all responsibility for keeping it street legal. The buyer will do likewise. I will not refund any money if you fail to get it transferred over. You must acknowledge this upon purchase. I can't emphasize this enough.

2000 model year. Been street-plated for a long time. Tabs good thru December.

3.5" and 5" black Takasago Excel rims, Gold Talon hubs. Pro wheelset build. Contiforce 120/17 and 160/17 tires. Near new. Excel dirt 18/21's with bald tires.

E-line stator, mounted Rekluse auto clutch with perch override, comes with Magura hydraulic manual clutch. WB magnesium top triple clamp, steering stabilizer, big tank, FMF Gnarly pipe.

New stuff: Acerbis Evo SM front fender, chain/sprox, 90mm bore by reputable guy, Wiseco Pro-lite piston kit, Cycra hand guards, Baja Designs: LED taillight/fender, wiring harness, turn-signal light switch, brake switch. No--Toil filter, etc, etc.

Bike is well-used and dirty, and top end is currently off. Ready to ride in an afternoon of easy reassembly. Comes with new-ish foot-lever stand.

Super fun/scary hooligan bike: 250lbs and 65hp. Heartbroken to sell it. $2800 OBO

Thanks, Brian

Someone close to him buy that right now.
Looks like a great deal. Shouldn't last long. Good luck with the sale.
I've been watching this bike sit on Craigs for WEEKS. If it were not thousands of miles away it would have sold first f'n day! Whats up with you Pacific NW tarders not snapping this up?

Ain't that the sad truth. No one out there with the heart and/or money. Might end up parting it out. What a shame..

I have some friends leaving to ride at Sturgis and would bring it back for me. Give me your best price as I don't like to low ball people. You can text me at 786-468-1942 or email [email protected].
Thanks
I found some other stuff, new mini battery pack and charger, low profile mirrors, Suzuki chain buffer, etc.

I've been assuming this is an E-line 110-watt stator, but not sure:

So have I, and I'm just north of Seattle. For starters, it's in parts, and who knows what it really needs to get back on the road again. And if this is true "Ready to ride in an afternoon of easy reassembly", as the owner states, he'd have little problem selling it then.

And if you think it's that great of a deal, I've seen people on this forum state that you can have a bike shipped cross country for $500. Surely you could make a deal with the owner, what's a few hundred bucks more?

Your thinking of a 200 amp. I have two. Hopefully in use soon. I want to get a constructor's title for my un-plated one soon.
Looking to piece together some Warp 9 cush drives once I get my IMS wide ratio 4th gear reverse engineered.
FYI, hammering my moms DT250e growing up I realized the largest concentration of cops is in town!
I want to go enduro, since they made it illegal to ride on a gravel road in Washington state 40 years ago.
So unless you burn up a track like a sport bike guy with to many tickets, Call Barbra Bowden.
P.S. when I see supermoto guys on the freeway bussing 70 or 80 mph, I drop to first on 2021 ZX-10r then pull a power wheelie , Because you in my house now!
