speedometer calibration

does anyone know how to adjust or modify the speedo drive gear on a xr 600 so when using a smaller 17 inch wheel the speed reads correct?right now i have the trailtech speedo on it but i want to put the stock one back on but to read the right speed.thanks

get a bicycles cateyes cycle computer ..NOTE only a few model can go up to 199km/h or 299km/h
