Just finished putting my 690 back together after powder coating.

here's mine when i got it

the po did all the common engine mods, i disconnected the tps and did the blinker mod on the rear tail light, and over christmas break i got the dual star mirrors put on, new ktm hand grips, shortened the exhaust cans 5.25", and put on the race tire that i got from a friend (wouldn't fit on his crf450 luckily for me) btw injunman's bike has been the inspiration for most of my mods

How did you do the blinker mod? i like simplicity of just the light.

This won't fit the 08 690SMC. Different levers, I believe

Just a mostly stock '08. You talk about enjoying the hell out of a toy.. Even when I'm not riding this thing I wake up, open the garage and smile at her lol.

BIG QUESTION: where can I get a full carbon Akra can?? Crispy says he modded a cb1000 but what about Lutze? Definitely interested in acquiring one...

Where did you get the K&N air filter kit like that ?
