Just bought a 2006 KTM 625 SMC. The guy selling it had it way under priced. The bike was in exceptional condition and is bone stock and I bought it with 8000km (~5000 miles).

I couldn't believe the build quality. Truly a step up and above my old yamaha.

Lots of fun to ride, throttle stop is removed and TPS is unhooked so she runs well. More than enough power for me so a rejet, airbox modifications, and a pipe is not high on my list at this moment.

I honestly am very happy with the bike in its current state. I would only maybe purchase a tail tidy kit and an 11L gas tank.

Based on the build quality, I do not know if I could really want to own another Japanese bike again.

New Akra on my SMC :D

The Akra with new link pipe keeps overall length the same as the SC Project exhaust. No where near as long as the PowerParts Akra

Nice straight entry to exhaust and the line of the exhaust up perfectly with the bottom of the numberboard

Stainless link pipe machined both ends to 49.66mm (Internal diameter on header end) and 51.9mm (External diameter exhaust end) Also kept the tension springs on the inside to keep the look as clean as possible.

Good exhaust note and MUCH quieter with the baffle in. Exactly what I wanted for track days this year.

Love the look of that pipe. Good work.

Nice bike but wth is that circle thing on the right engine mout
Road tax. In the UK you have to pay the government to go on the road  One payment each year, usually on the date the bike was registered. The disc is there to prove I have paid for it, if I get pulled over by the police.

£270 a year!?!? I thought £76 a year was extortion. Same thing over here, as soon as they run the plate all the vehicle details pop up on their computer screen, don't ask how I know :anim_peep:
