shouldnt have to worry about that for at least 15k miles, and thats kinda premature still.

piston and rings is all you should need, a few gaskets, and some time, maybe a cam chain, and a rocker rebuild...

300 bucks maybe? not sure.

Do you know if the cylinder bore is a liner or "plated?"

If plated, I would get it replated at Millenium, to keep things tight and crisp.

Not sure. Its an 2006 with 6500 miles.
My 610 is my first Husky, but I would think that the cylinder bore is "plated."

I'll find out in about 16,000 miles! :lol:
