Hi, I am interested in getting an SDG for myself, but before I do, I had to ask what you guys think of it?
:lame:

www.sikktoys.com

$800 cheaper. I bought one on Tuesday. Adding Dunlop TT91s, Acerbis handguards and a 20mm Chinese carb and hitting the track.

Parts warranty on a dirt bike?? That alone is worth it. I have heard nothing but good thinks about the SDG. Way faster than any 110.
I would buy one over a drz110 and I'm a diehard suzuki guy.

The SDG has a weak kickstarter gear (kick it careful) and some tranny issues. It's 3 valve engine is weird and not supported with parts as the E22 headed 107s.

For supermoto it's way tall and stinkbugged.

See:

www.thumpertalk.com and www.planetminis.com

And for $2200 it's a ripoff.

are these bikes reliable, and do xr 50 parts fit right on?
don't know how reliable they are yet, but most of the xr/crf50 parts are a direct bolt on. to upgrade the engine some of the Takegawa kits will work as I am told by the 2 of the dealers (Rotten Inc., and Sikk MX)

most of y'all should wait til I get my SikkMX pitbike. for those who don't know me too well, I will push the thing to the point it dies. if this thing doesn't hold up you'll know right away. I should be taking delivery sometime this week. Dealer said should be at my door no later than the 23rd then, I WILL PUNISH the thing at Elsinore MX track, then punish it some more at Grange on the 6th of March.

I've got a fairly high modded 50 and have ridden sdg's and 110's.
For the $$ and reliability I would suggest a 110. If I had to do it over thats what I would do. Honestly, SDG's have alot of bells and whistles but thier not very durable, I've rode one, they Heavy, really top heavy and kinda chincy.
