I am currently running a 2008 KTM and I know the forks for the 250/450/505 are the same. I was just wondering if the forks from the past years like the 2005 models are the same as the new forks. If anyone knows the answer please let me know.

2007 SX models and all 2008 models have the cartridge style forks. The fork legs should be similar from '03 onward except for the SMR legs starting in '05 where the brake caliper was radially mounted.

Alright because I know a friend that has set of Beringer Brakes for an 06 KTM 250f and I am hoping they will fit my 08.

A brake kit from a 250 SXF should bolt right up to your 505 XC-F. What all is included in the kit?

I know 2008 250f brakes work for the 505f I am just hoping the 2006 250f setup is the same as the 2008. It has master cylinder caliper and rotor the whole deal. Its just a buddy and I am going to borrow it. What setup do you run on your bike racer187x?

They should bolt up just fine. I haven't tried to work around that new wrap-around lower fork guard though. Shouldn't be a problem.

I run the FTE radial caliper on the 310mm brake disk (like stock SMR). I use a steel braided brake hose and the 58613030200 brake pads (better feel but wear faster). Nothing special like the factory boys have! Did you get my PM and ahold of Cassidy btw?
