so i have a WR-X and have been wanting to get a hanbrake setup... only problem is coming up w the funds/explanation to my wife as to why 500$ is missing from our account..haha. basically ive been wondering if it would work if i could run a master cylinder that my buddy has kicking around and run a brakeline w a double banjo bolt int the foot master cylinder?? or maybe double banjo to the rear caliper?? any of you see any problems with this setup?? any input helps. thanks!

You can't put the double banjo back at the caliper or it will push fluid backwards through the other master cylinder (MC). My CRF450 has a Rekluse hand brake which does almost what your describing at the foot MC. It comes with a replacement reservoir cap that takes a banjo fron the hand MC. It also fills most of the reservoir with metal, but I think it would work without that. When you squeeze the hand brake, it just pushes through the reservoir. If you use the pedal, it locks the hand brake.
