I have a 2010 SM510 and want to race it, but I use it on the street regularly as well. Ideally I would like to have two set of wheels and tires to switch between the stock wheels, and another set with race tires.

I did a search and my dealer can get me a set of excels rims laced to stock hubs for around $300 more expensive than I have found Behr rims online.

Can I get some opinions on which way would be better to go, or if I am overlooking another avenue? From what I have read the Behr rims are heavier, which is obviously a negative as far as racing goes.

Thanks,
Robert

Call Factory Pro Racing in SoCal, they can get you hooked up.
I have Excel/Talon wheels on my 09 450 and they are very nice.

Factory pro racing is where I got the quote on the Behr rims. They have a set anodized red at a good price, my only reserve is if I would regret getting the heavier Behr rims.
