for me hondas the main reason is that they have always been bulletproof.. another good point is that most parts are interchangable.. so sprockets.. clamps.. brackets.. levers.. can be swaped and tried back and forth..
.. they all have thier points..
the 400r is real nimble, a one kick start and go bike.. quick for tight city riding and in a minute converts to a preety dam good tight track bike..
.. the 650r has great power and torque.. and it is also bulletproof.. just a few simple mods to the carb and exhaust and it is off screaming. - parts are easy to find cause there are so many out there.
.. as for the cr500.. it is a machine like no other.. in the dirt is one one thing.. but as a street legal monster... it is out of control.. it'l turn every head anywhere.. and it is just a blast to ride. nothing like the sound of a two stroke pulling up along side a sportbike and smokin their ass down through some twisties.:2hard
.... one other point is once getting to know the honda blueprint.. repairs and maintenence gets easier and more knowledged.
... & i have always liked red and black as color schemes.
