ya i think it is west of weaverville. not too sure though, that'd be my guess.
I would guess, very close to Steel Bridge Road, which is, when you are coming down 299 from Redding, the first place you see the Trinity River along the road. My father has a cabin there. My parents bought it in the 70's. We used to go there every spring in October for my birthday for 2 weeks. My father, my last living parent, passed away suddenly last Feburary. I thought he had a will, but none surfaced. My step biaaach (I refuse to refer to her as a step mother) got the cabin and 5 acres because he put her on the title as joint tenent. Even though his plans were to give it to me, and everyone knew that. No one has been there for 20 years, so for all I know the cabin isn't even standing, although it was in great shape the last time I was there. But I have had some really good times and memories of that area! I miss going therer every year. Anyone who lives in that area is very very lucky!

Sorry for the post with no pic, just had to get that off my chest! When I get my 530 EXC SMed out, I'll post some pics.

That's not really a handicaped parking space. There should be a loading zone sign there. The sign was put in the wrong place. The motorcyle is parked in a yellow or loading zone. If it was a handicaped space, it would have blue lines all around it. To the right you can see the access walk way to the handicapped parking space that is on the other side. You can tell by the blue cross hatch line that is barely visable in the picture. If you were given a ticket for parking in that space, a judge would throw it out if you fought the ticket and showed the judge a picture.

But, ya, it's really wierd that a handicaped sign is on a motorcycle, especially an ape hanger like that.

Well I paid 3200 for it and could only knock 100 dollars off the original price of 3300. Its a 2004 and has under 500 miles on the motor. I bought it from a really cool guy that babied this bike. He told me he was sorry for not cleaning the forks before I came over because they had dust on them.

This is my third bike and my god does it have some power! And its still corked! Almost to much power for a little 140 pound teenager.
Wow! That's a nice find. Sometimes I wish I would have looked for one of those that someone street legalized before I bought my KTM. They make a great SM bike. Have fun with that XR!!

Just uncorked the air box but I will have to go to the shop for some needles. I need to change the oil, filter, and plug just because it is running a bit lean and hot. Other than that I found the bike I want to keep forever!

(will insert more pics in this post tomorrow so you have some thing to look at!)
Lets see those pics!!!
