At least you didnt marry yours... or have a kid with her. I did both. Its like starting all over from scratch at 31. Totally wasted my 20s on that b... At least I have ended up with my son. Its nice once you finally get past it and can look ahead instead of being so caught up in dealing with the present. Now if I could just figure out a way to get a SuMo I'll be in Heaven!!!
I take it thats a 426? I was tossed between that and the KX500 and went for the KX for the dunes. Now I live no where near the dunes and wish I wouldve went with the 426 so I could street legal SuMo it. I guess we cant all make the right choices in life!

Gdubb, Why not convert the KX?.I know I could get it street licensed (Noticed I didnt say Legal) in Colorado. Where do You live?

I live in Washington. West of the Puget Sound. We dont have any smog inspection or anything over here so I dont see why I wouldnt be able to convert it but I was wanting a 4stroke so I wouldnt have to premix. Plus the KX500 isnt really known for being very conservative with fuel. I have tossed the idea around but I am rather ignorant of the legalities of such conversions. I have been holding out for my credit to clear up a bit and finances to improve so I could try to finance something like the DRZSM or maybe the WRX although not to fond of it only being a 250. I sure would like to see the looks on peoples faces as this thing went flying past on the highway...

Its a '96 and runs like a top but it needs some work elsewhere like bearings, chain and sprocket, fork seals, rear brake pins and stuff. Oh and a couple of the welds on the pipe mounting tabs are cracked. It looks good though! :thumbup:
