The October 4th and 5th NWGP race will be held as it was always going to be. It will be normal racing on the 4th and the endurance race will be done on the 5th in the afternoon. The only difference for this race weekend than any others is that karts will also be here from the L.O. 206 cup. Registration will open at 7:30 and practice will start promptly at 9am on Saturday and Sunday. Open practice is also available on Friday for $30.00 for non members and $25.00 for members. The Sat. schedule will be a mix of bikes and karts for the day. Sun we will be running all Kart classes only for the morning hoping to get the LO206 cup races completed around 1pm and then running bikes for the endurance races the remainder of the day. The only other difference for this last race weekend is the NWGP usually has your banquet and awards ceremony out here, as of now we haven't heard from anyone in authority from NWGP that this is going to go on - we have tried a few times to get something done on the points and have not received any answers - last year US Air paid for all your year end awards - our concession people (SMOKIN JOE'S) also supplied some of the food in appreciation for the 2013 season.

We also are hearing different rumors about the September 7th race that go cancelled - let us set the record straight on that, here is exactly what happened- when WIR got cancelled it became a track day at US Air, Ryan came in and told me that we should cancel the September 7th race and make it a track day instead as no one is showing up for the races but are showing up for a track day, I told him I would talk to Pat about it. As we don't just arbitrarily cancel races we discussed it and decided basically to give it a second chance and put it out for a vote to see if we could rally up more participants, instead of just cancelling it right then and there. We had put it out on all the pertinent sites so everyone could see it and answer whether we could get the numbers up or not to put on a race. We gave everyone about 2 weeks to let us know and not enough people responded, so then it did get cancelled and became a track day. So the rumor that has been perpetuated by some that we may "JUST CANCEL A RACE" is in fact BS started by some ill-informed few without the knowledge in which to base their statement. It was great to see all the new faces that showed up for the track day - maybe some of them can turn into racers.

We hope to see you out here for the last race of the year!
