Hello all,
My name is Eric, 33, from Los Angeles California. Specifically a small city in Los Angeles called Azusa. I’ve been riding legally on the road for 18 years. I ride a Harley road king, Kawasaki klx450r, Yamaha yz250 street legal, and a kymco super9 moped. I’m here to try to learn about supermoto, in hopes of transitioning my YZ250 into a sweet supermoto that I can ride around town, and maybe some canyons. Right now it’s setup for off-road with some dot street tires on it. Will need whole setup for sumo. Thanks for your time. See photos of my bikes.

Welcome and welcome to your new addiction I know Azua pretty well. Born and raised down in SoCal.

You can buy some warp9 wheels with there rotors, adpter and sprockets easily. You will want to stiffen up your suspension for sure so it won't dive and will handle the corners decently. Toxicmoto is a good source for Supermoto parts.

Myself and a few others will be down in SoCal from March 31st to like April 7. We will be riding Adams in Riverside and Apex in Moreno Valley. You are more than welcome to come hang out and get some good in person info from us and other. Just look for a crazy old woman on the bike in the pic. Plan is Adams Sunday, Apex Tuesday then not sure which days we will hit after.
