I have just got this bike never had a husky before, sold my CRM 250 AR.

The bike seems very snatchie on the clutch pulling away when the bike is cold, but fine when warm?

The bike is hard to start even with the electric starter.

I have checked the shims-all ok ,changed oil filter cleaned strainers new plug, air filter.

the bike has done 700 miles.

The bike has a few trick bits.
Akopovic full system,Beringer six pot front brake set up.:D

It also has Excel rims and talon hubs are these standard?

I am looking at fitting a Trail Tech speedo has any body done this?

Thanks for that info! few more tips please?

I thank you for the infomation its a great help!

The London Husky dealer must be getting me at it.
He stated the the wheels are standard on this model?:rolleyes2:

I have got a bit more of the nack to start the bike ,thank god! I was getting sick of just turning it over with the electric start just to flaten the battery and kick starting is for gladiators:lol:

The beast does not like any throttle utill it fires.

The small lever on the handal bars - I think its some kind of de-compression aid could you explain what the best steps are to useing this?

My bike also has black powdercoat on the main frame ,yokes and swinger is this standard?

Are SM450R more expencive when new than say a TE450?

The Guy are got the bike from had only done 40miles on it and left it in the garage for 18months ,he stated it scared him too much:headscrat the owner before added all the extra parts.

I would like to see a picture of the standard model just to see how tricked up mine is.

I will have another ride on the bike tomorrow to get more of an understanding of the bike:D

I still feel happy that it was cheap at £1850.
