Looks like Buell is going to introduce some kind of street motard. The website video shows a rider on both pavement and dirt roads. Probably along the lines of the new KTM. Go to:

I agree. Buell isn't know for building light bikes. Plus some of the "old school" Buell riders have been crying for a larger bike since the XB series came out.
Thats not quite true, I believe teh XB9s are pretty light weight. I race Harleys on a weekly basis. I believe the motors are too tempermental to use in a reliable motard application. And dont even consider the Blast...it could easily be rebaged the POS. Now if Erik Buell could talk HD into designing his own, self built motor for a Motard application, we would pry have one bad streetbike. Look what he has done with a 100 year old design..imagine what we would get with his ability applied to modern day thumper....
Ducatis are 60 degree, as is the TL1000, Ducs have no problem winning roadracing championships. I look at it this way..if Erik can pull take a 70hp 1200cc evo sportster, do a few of his mods, and have a reliable 90hp street machine..imigine what he could do with say..a 4 valve, DOHC, FI single cylinder...now that would be a REAL BLAST!
Dang, i was close lol. But 90 is even more..explain that Mr. Buell?
they are quite large..and quite ugly while being large at the same time. id take an old pushrod 45 to race with over a vrod any day, simply because i actually know what im doing when it comes to the simple things in life!
