Hi, I went to my dealer yesterday, and got the latest map
it ends in 800201, and compared to the 001 it has more fuel in mid-high rpm and makes a difference in high rpm, with the 001 it feels like it runs out of steam. And the fuel curves are much smoother

I have mailed it to the tuneecu guys, and it should be soon on their site

Is this one newer than the KM750EU0804031 maps? I can't find any reliable info on the numbering scheme they use for these. They have an KM750EU0800231 set that looks like it would be the equivalent for the Akra exhausts...

I just dumped the KM750EU0800231 set into mine to try it out.

031 and 231 are for akra exhausts, you are correct. Although IF i remember correctly I couldnt see any difference between them, but the files ARE different, so there might be something else changed that we dont see..

But are the 201/231 maps newer or older than the (KM750EU0804)031 ones?

The numbering goes like this:

KM750EU0800201 - standard
KM750EU0800231 - Akra
KM750EU0804031 - Akra
KM750EU070F030 - Akra
KM750EU070F001 - Standard

Do you or anyone else know how to decipher the part numbers for KTM maps? It looks like the 07/08 after the EU is model year... The 3 in the 2nd to last position designates Akra, 0 is Std exhaust... Seeing that there's an F in some of the 4th from right position and decimal digits in others, it's probably in hex...

After that I'm out of ideas. :(

The other thing I can't get an straight out of anyone on is whether there are additional parameters in the maps that are not exposed for editing in TuneECU. Seeing as they look identical in the compare function but have differences in a hex editor or file compare, I'm inclined to think yes.

I agree with what you said. But not sure what the 07-08 means exactly...

The 231/201 are definetely newer ones, cause in 07 when I got my SM only the 01/31 where available. Also the 201 is 100% the latest one, as the dealer logged in the dealer.net in front of me and got the map

Thanks for the "definite newest" info. I applied the 231 to my SMR today - so far no complaints, not sure if it's any stronger but it fuels nice and smooth!
