Hopefully this doesn't get marked as spam or piss any mods off.. If it does I apologize but I'm just trying to help all of the KTM guys out :arsenal
As some of you know DJH or (Dave) is a forum GURU on ktmtalk and provides engine servicing. I just wanted to share my great experience with you all. He is quick about doing the work and very professional. He has all of your questions answered before you even gotta ask him! He was kind enough to let me borrow his cam chain tool for the re-assembly of my engine, I was also provided a COMPLETE top end gasket kit. I also used his method of valve adjustment when I put everything back together. When I received my head back from him he included the old guides, valves, and seals that he removed. I was very impressed with the work he had done, I hope that I won't have to do any kind of serious work to the engine for a long time. When I do, I know exactly who to talk to. I highly recommend his services!

Yup, he sounds like a good guy. It's nice of you to take the time to publicly thank him.
nothing wrong with posting some positive feedback, travis and djh seem to be the guys to contact over at ktmtalk if you need work done.
ive asked those guys 1312312 questions and they are always nice and generous enough to help me and answer them as best they can
I always appreciate gettin an "atta boy" or somethin for bustin' my ass.. So I like to give credit where credit is deserved

DJH on KTM Talk

I agree with you, dave has been great to work with and I would highly recommend him. Looks like he now has his own website :clap:www.djhcyclesport.com. Still very active at ktm talk too.

He has some new tensioners available, anyone using them?

if I didn't have a dirt tricks tensioner already I'd probably be using his on my 530.

DJH just rebuilt my engine with a few of his magic touches and you are spot on with your feedback. Knowledgable, fast and just overall honest guy.

BTW, the tensoiner is trick, annodized orange that matches the Hard Parts stuff quite well.

I totally agree.....

Both have share great info whenever I needed when I was a Pumpkin owner.....
Is it gone?!

I haven't been able to get on KTM talk in a couple weeks. Seemed like I tried a while back and was getting funky responses so I just moved on thinking it was down for the day or whatever. Couldn't get on today neither.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but on the bright side it was like my 4th google result for KTM talk.
I also agree that good experiences should be shared

If DJH is reading this, please make your cam tensioner with metric screws, cause its not easy to find a 4.5 alen key :)
DJH (Dave) is a class act all around. He's helped me several times with free info that others would not share. I know of a few motors he's built that run awesome and reliable.
