Does anyone know if the Fox MX boots are any good for SM. Or would anyone recomend any other boots. I know the Alpinestar Tech boots are good but boy the cost a bit.

I just bought a pair of the Oxtar supermoto bots with replacable soles but haven't been able to test them yet. Good price though $259 with a spare set of soles.

I like my Fox boots, really comfy, but the soles wear out fast on asphalt. I just got a pair of the Oxtar SM boots and they are pretty good also, not quite as comfy as the Fox boots though. The AXO SM boots look good also.

The Thor Quadrant is not bad looking either, a bit longer break-in, but for a street price of about a hundred bucks they are a throw away rather than worrying about resoling.

Where did you get them? I ordered mine from Motostrano.com for the same price but I didn't know they came with extra soles so I ordered another set.

I bought mine from motostrano also (they were on sale at the time) and ordered them with a spare set of soles. Also got the smj discount.

I ride a pare of Sidi super moto boots and i can honestly say i have never worn a pare of boots that style that are more comfertable. They a way better then my fox boots and i love them cuz they have sliders on the sole but there is 3 of them, instead of a hole replaceable sole, the boots are more on the pricy side, but they have agreat pivot system in the ankle that really alows you to flex your foot with out twisting it in a fall. and the new sliders are only like $20, and great fun to walk around on pavement, defently worth it in my eyes

The SIDI ones are well nice but they are f**king expensive in the UK 368.80 USD and they don't do them in a size that fits my weird feet
I'm thinking of getting the Fox boots and getting some titanium sm plates to screw on to the soles.

HI..I have used and tested the new AXO supermoto boots....out west..on mx tracks and road(supermoto)kart tracks..they stay new..and the bottoms last a long time..easy to replace if needed...not the most in ankle supports..like other boots..but not expensive at 249 but I have been with AXO..sponsorship for a long time with 661, great supermoto suit also...good price...I will now be racing the east coast with more rain..etc..from the mx tests the boots are 4 stars..and right there with Alpinestars,Sidi,Oxtar and Fox, etc... remember they were a boot maker in the 70's and 80.s with the top mx racers in the world... and I wore them then..take care...
