If you spray windex on both the tyre and rim you can get them on with out tyre irons. Just keep the side thats on down in the center of the rim and push the other side on, you may have to stand on the tyre to get the last part on.
Mounting tires
I have a set of Pirelli Diablos that I need to mount on some excel rims. How do mounting street tires compare to changing the stock tires on my XR650? Pretty doable with a couple tire irons like my stockers, or are the street tires a PITA?

err, that blue stuff that comes in a bottle for cleaning windows mirrors etc.
