I have just commenced a rebuild/remodelling of my WRF and thought you guys might like to look at how we build them here for the Australian conditions. It is fitted with all the good gear and has already given me 24,700 hassle free miles. Used daily. Will have fresian cow printed decals, yep I said cow print! Frame will be the same colour as the metallic grey on the timing cover, and all blue remaining parts changed to white. ...Muzz...

Hi Guys, The tank is an Acerbis 13 litre ( 3 odd U.S. gallons) fits this '03 Australian model just OK, nothing sharp, just OK. Having said that I'm pretty friggin fussy! :FU:

The high mileage on this bike has been disputed by gurus all over the web. Let me tell you from the horses mouth, This bike has not had the rocker cover off! Never had valve clearances done, never had any trouble with anything!...I have been building/designing/racing motorcycles now for nearly 30 years and worked out very quickly that smooth can be fast, and careful is still quick!...Use it, dont abuse it! ... There is something to be said about Yamaha motors in general...THEY NEVER DIE!...I had 60,000 kms on my Yamaha R6 motor, and I beat the hell out of it, never did a valve adjustment, did 2 oil changes a season, and that it...60,000 and it still ran, didn't burn much oil...also, I've got a few Yamaha snowmobiles with 20,000 kms on one, a 600 cc two-stroke, never been rebuilt or touched....just rode hard and put away wet!

That is a nice ride. Glad to hear that the WRF is a long-ranger, I've been running mine for a couple years now but have no idea on the mileage. No bike is as much of a streetfighter as a motard! Here's a look at my rig:

Hey Shane, Merry Christmas mate, Bikes not got all the gear on here. Still have to fit the seat cover, headlight nacelle and front guard. How's the physio coming on the leg? Cant see myself in Perth for the racing Trevor has put on, as I have a display and racing on the 22 Jan for the Yamaha Supermoto Masters at Calder Park Thunderdome. Are putting together a control mini moto to put to M.A. for homogulation as we speak so I will be O.S. sourcing parts in your region late Jan early Feb. Boxing Day my thoughts were immediately of you and your family and after consulting the atlas figured you would be 'shaken and not stirred'...All Ok with you there?....Muzz...
