Does anyone know where I can buy a cush drive hub to fit my 2002 KX500? The KX500 hubs are unique in that there are three bearings. Two on the side with the sprocket. I suppose a KX250 hub would work. The bearings just would not last as long. However, I've never found a KX250 cush drive hub!

I've been looking for months and not found any hubs with cush drive. I'm worried that I'll be forced to make those nice KTM cush drive hubs work. I have no idea how close or how far off the fit is.

I got the bike, I got the license plate, I just need to get my wheels built up!

Thanks-
Mark

If the axle size is 20mm and the disc a 220mm, the KTM cush wheel will not require much work to fit(Possibly milling spacers for less width, and offsetting rim). The only thing that I would be concerned about is the tire and swingarm clearance.

I do have a KTM 300EXC in my garage. I should check closer to see if the rear wheel could fit or altered to fit the KX500. That sure would make life a lot easier since KTM is so supporitve of Supermotard setups.
Thanks-
