:laughingr :laughingr :laughingrDear Mr. Jones
You are lying, or you are an idiot. Your choice.
I read in one of my searches to hold the "mode" button for 10 seconds to access the change menu...it didn't work for me gonna try to disconnect the speedo harness tomorrow and try that method next..Hi all,
yesterday a replaced my 09 690SMC with a 690E.
in the 08\09 the original speedo was defected and water entered, it was replaced in a factory recall.
After it was replaced it was not set to the 21's and now my speedo is way off.
how can i set this on the 690?
Thanks,
Shay
just went out to the bike and gave it a go...:laughingr :laughingr :laughingr

Thanks I'll give it shot later.....I was able to do it w/my 450 exc a few years ago but forgot how !!It's not in this post but.....I'm 99% positive you have to disconnect the speedo from the battery. It will be one of the connectors to the speedo, then scroll to the odo, then press and hold mode....WS should appear.
As mentioned earlier 1880 is standard for 17's, however I am using 1847 and am really close to my GPS. Checking with a GPS is the only way to be sure your not 3-5mph off!
Yup, it just worked on my '14 500 EXC as well. Thanks!Just thought I would add that I just did this for a 2013 KTM 500 EXC, and it worked great.
