I found myself interested in the 950sm after checking out a couple of pics on SMJ and reading that it was fuel injected. With this possibly being my first tard, what I'm really wanting to know is if the 950 is to be ridden like other motards? By that I mean ,no constant or high rpm as in highway riding. Or, is the 950's v-twin built similar to that of the Ducati's so it can tolerate a constant high rpm? I ride curves and highway with a group of guys and am wanting something fun not fast. So I'm trying to learn whether or not my riding style would kill this bike. Thanks!!

My bad about the fuel injection, I had the 690's EFI in mind.

I have an 06 an its is the best bike I have ever owned. Fast, easy to ride, and just more fun than most things. It handles the highway well, and the occasional track day just as well.
