My 2009 klx250sf randomly dies while riding. When trying to start it again, it won't. I pull the choke and then it would start after holding the starter button for awhile. Turn the throttle slightly and the engine dies. So I can't just adjust idle screw. i thought maybe it is the air/fuel mixture screw but that doesn't do anything.

One thing I noticed is that I can turn the fuel knob to reserve and it would run. I had the choke on so I couldn't test to see it it would run without the choke?

So I'm thinking something is clogged in the tank. Is there a fuel filter or something in the tank?

Anyone heard of or had this happen?

Thanks

Mods are just a dynojet kit with stage one. It only has about 60 miles.

Just to update. It was some connectors under the seat that were not plugged in all the way.

As for gas I kind of knew I had gas cause I just filled up. It had 60 miles buy on the second tank of gas.

I removed the carbs thinking maybe I did something wrong with the dynojet kit. So now it is running normal.

Thanks all.
