Hello,

I am new to both the forum and the sport. The KLX is my first motorcycle as a matter of fact.
Can anyone help me with this issue? My drive chain is grinding against the plastic piece that attaches to the frame. See the pics below. Is this supposed to happen?
I checked the manual for adjustment settings, but wanted to check with the experienced folks first to see if someone have had the same problem.

Thanks a lot!

Yep, that is normal. The purpose of that plastic piece is to give the chain something soft to slide against instead of the swing arm.

Normal, but check and make sure the chain slack is correct. If it's too loose, it can rub on the slider more than it should, but the wear you see looks ok to me.

Thanks a lot for your input...I won't worry then. I didn't think it was something bad as the bike is only a little over 1,000 miles, but wanted to make sure.

big THANKS
