Hey im new to the forum. I have a 05 drz400 sm just did a full yosh system kn filter and a dj jet kit. It runs great going up but seems to stumble when i back off a little. It surges like its running out of fuel. Im not sure what it is, fuel screw? pilot jet? Any help would be bad azz.

Did you do the 3x3? What needle, clip position, main & pilot jets are you using, and what is your elevation. Yet another Dynojet surging thread. :rolleyes2: You should have used the James Dean kit. It's "bad azz" as you say.

Surging is generally a sign of the mixture being too lean. Try raising the needle one position (clip down from the top, raising the needle up).
