I made it a long time but today I got nailed with a ticket.Being 52 I cannot complain.I have had plenty of warnings so I guess I deserve this one.It could have been a lot worse but they did not charge me with passing on the double yellow or doing 50 over.Hit me with careless driving,which is weird but got off with 150.00 and no jailtime.They set up a road block to catch us hell I did not even know they were after us. :headscrat But they were nice about it and they said they did not think we were running from them.The guy said he could not get close enough for us to see him.

My freind Lee who is 70 but can out ride most anyone on the street. :bowdown: I was on the Chreohalo Skyway in Tenn.The speed limit is 30 and it is a long ride through it.The road is made for high speed riding or driving.Smooth and banked perfect.I think the DOT has got the speed limits way to slow.I am getting a petition up to get our speed limits raised in north Ga..They have got us down to 45 and less just about everywhere and there is hardly any passing zones.The people coming here cannot drive and they are not very considerate.They will not even think about pulling over and letting faster traffic by. :FU: That is what they think.

I was on the Chrehalo Skyway a month and a half ago all I have to say is AAAMMMAAAZZZZZZIIIINNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG..........I rode my sv from NY to Deals Gap. The roads down there are great!!

I have rarely seen cops out there. Except of course when they are picking up wreck. How did he get you? Radar, laser , or visual? Notice the lines painted across the road on the NC side?

One of my friends got a ticket there as well, they hit him with a laser gun. He actually went back down from NY and faught the ticket becuase it said draf racing on it. How do you drag race through there?? Ahhh....there are no straights! haha..

I might have to trailer the tard down there next year, I loved that place!

It was visual.We ride in that area just about ever weekend and this was the first time I have ever seen any enforcement.NC does use helicopters ever now and then.The speed limit is 30 mph all the way through the skyway which is sort of stupid. :headscrat
