I want to participate in the track days at Summit Point.

What gear do I need.

What do I need to do to my bike to prep it?

Please be specific in your answers. Thanks!!

1) transportation for you and the bike to the track (riding the bike to the track is not the best option. see the rest of the list and youll know why)
2) your bike
3) your bike key
4) your gear (pants, jacket, boots, gloves, helmet, eye protection)
5) extra gas for your bike
6) tools for your bike (just enough to fix anything that may break or fall off)
7) water/gatorade (you will be sweating a lot)
8) food (there is food at the track, but it is expensive and not usually healthy)
9) rain gear (just in case)
10) money (just in case)
11) bike spares (if you have any)
12) level headedness (there is always someone faster)

have fun!!

Thank you for being specific on a list of things to bring, but I need more info on the types of gear that is acceptable and things I need to do to the bike to pass inspection.

When you say gear, I know jeans by themselves probably won't work, but what if I have knee pads stapped on?

I have a helmet, gloves, jacket eye protection ect.

How do I go about prepping my bike?
