Hey, new to the forum! I'm looking into buying a motard =D

Currently I've got my eye on a Husky 610sm, unfortunately due to the LAMs laws in Australia I can only get a pre 2009 model.

I was just wondering how long these engines last between rebuilds? 30 000km with adequate oil changes?
The two ones I've found have 14k and 18k on them, anything to look out for? I know the cam timing chain needs to be replaced around there or can majorly screw things up. Anything else?

Put this in the Husky section under manufacturers of sumos. Mine is an 08 and I only have a few thousand km on it. Most cam chains go from 7-10 thou before needing replaced. Most have been going around 30 000km on the older ones before rebuilding and replacing internal bearings with regular maint.
ADV rider is a good source on the 610 as there are a pile of TE riders there
